So yeah basically i have the modules and the relay was installed when i got my alarm done the other week (M80G), but he wanted an extra $100 to install central locking...
Needless to say i said no...

So what i need to know to install my central locking is what wire colour goes where on the relay...
( Pretty sure this is what im looking to wire it up to: http://www.mongoose.com.au/accessories/ ... _id=MLP550 , but it might be different to the M80G relay...)

I bought 2 5wire actuators off ebay a while ago...
http://www.mongoose.com.au/accessories/ ... id=MSK1005

Probably only should have bought 1 5wire and a 2wire like this one:
http://www.mongoose.com.au/accessories/ ... id=MSK1000

But i can still use use them (just wont connect the other 3 wires on one of them)...

So if some one could supply me with the wire colour hook up points i will do a full tutorial for the rest of you (i know at least 1 other person wants central locking on here)...
(wire colours are: Blue, Black, Brown, Green, White...)

Cheers

I think if the m80 is the same as the 70 like my car has I didn't need central locking relay.. module i used the internal alram one.. the only difference it when you unlock/lock the master door it will only affect that door.. big deal it works with the button so thats all i need.. I will have a look for the wiring colors i used i think it would be nearly the same

Basically to use internal relays this is the colours I used..

Central lock Alarm Plug.. ------------------- > Where to Hook Up
Purple --------------------------------- > 12 Volt Constant Power
Orange --------------------------------- > 12 Volt Constant Power
Brown --------------------------------- > Ground to Chassis
White --------------------------------- > Ground to Chassis
Green --------------------------------- > Lock on master actuator
Blue ---------------------------------- > Unlock on Master actuator
Black ----------------------------------------------> No idea can't find it on the diagram...

Hope this helps... you wont need the relays like the ones on mongoose's site now..

Another Thing I hooked up thats pretty cool is the Dome Light supervision.. When you unlock the car it lights the dome light for 30secs i think.. Just Pm me with your email address and i will send you the diag and explination

Yeah i know that i dont need to install that relay that i linked to as the M80 already has one (where is it?)...
I just dont know where at the moment, or what colours go where on it...

One problem with your instructions above, i dont have a purple or orange wire on my locking modules...
Just the 5 below...
Also why do you have 2 12v constant powers??
Which part is the central lock alarm plug out of this page:
http://www.mongoose.com.au/car-security ... ct_id=M80G
Is it the little black box or the big one?

The dome light sounds like it could be good...
Altho i think i would install boot release first (just as long as i could keep the manual release incase it dies for some reason)...

I think it would be the coloured harness unless the guy hasn't given it to you because you didn't give him a 100 to fit the central lock, it is the left harness on the mongoose m80 page... all the other wires are black wiring as per NSW/AU Standards. The 2 constant powers and 2 grounds would be for the two separate relays lock and unlock.
If you can't find the wires I will check at work on Monday as where i work sells mongoose. Check in your manual they may be different colours to mine.. i think it has a diagram in there..

Dammit...
I left the manual at home (i'm house sitting at my parents place for the weekend)...
Bah might have to wait for now, its been raining on and off for the entire weekend anyway......

He damed well better have installed the relay/harnesses cause they were part of the M80 package...
If he hasnt then i'm gunna be pissed...
He didnt give me the box either (granted i would have just thrown it out or let it collect dust but i still wanted it)...

But he should have...
I only said no to him installing the modules for me...

Will look for the needed wires/harness/relays tomorrow as its still raining here in the blue mountains...

With the boot release make sure it is a negative trigger otherwise when you hook it up you will blow up the circuit in the alarm module... It will only accept a negative trigger so you will have to wire it up through a relay but i think the mongoose electric boot popper will be set up maybe in that way just be careful... I will post up the wiring diag and explanation for the dome light in 5 just have to upload it to photobucket easier than email..

As I don't Know the Colours for the 80 Series.. I am thinking it would be almost the same as the 750s as the 80 replaced it... Here is the explanation of the diagram as it is suited to the 750s..

It took me a couple hours to do but it works very well..

750s Wires
Green - Door Pin Wire neg Trigger (the Accent is Neg Trigger)
Blue/White - Domelight neg Trigger
It is a little tricky let me know if you get stuck it took me know time to wire up the door pin wires and hook it up it took me ages with the relay and what wires went to alarm etc...

Image

Hope it is clear enough...

See now why didn't i get something like that for my central locking modules...

That would make things much simpler...
Altho all the wires from my alarm unit are black, so i would have to know the wire numbers...

Took some decent pics of under my dash...
I think i see that coloured loom...
only thing is that its almost directly beneath my cluster and directly above the alarm unit...
So its a little hard to get to...

Will need a full day to do it i reckon...
I wonder it it would be easier to remove the steering wheel and column as well as the trim underneath the cluster...

Also does any one know if the LC2 crash pad (the full dash) will fit in the LC??
I'm thinking i want passenger air bags now...
Altho it might not be worth it as i would have to buy the parts, the air bags and install it all and then get it engineered...

Will have to ask dad if i can have his old digital camera (he has a new 7.1mp digital SLR-ish camera)...
It takes much better pics that my phone camera...

Also the book that came with my alarm doesn't actually list an M80G in it...
Its got M80i, M80S, M80AU & M80AM...

Cheers

I'm not sure that they would give out product installation information to the general public...
Because then any thief who wanted to know how to disable their alarms would be able to get that information easily...

The 80G will be the same wiring as the others the others are only different options that go with it the general wiring for the module will be the same, with mine there was a 750, 750s and about two others i will try to find something out from my mate at work that fits them, although we only stock the 80s, not the g...
