I'm keen.
Anyone around Sydney (western subrubs etc. so like, Blacktown, Parra, Penrith even; wherever ey) want to meet up, take some pics, grab some food, I don't know what you do; it'd be my first meetup with a car club :)

Love an admin who's active heaps!
YES! I'm high on coffeee.... LETS GO RIGHT NOW.. IN MY LUNCH BREAK!!!
LOL. This is why you don't give a nerd free, unlimited coffee, a servo that sells mother for $5.50 for two, and the news that TPG might release a broadband plan for $75/month with unlimited downloads.....

More maturely speaking; I would love to do it sooner, but best bet would be to set a date, say 27th March? You came all the way down for the last meet, if I remember correctly? We should meet up half way, maybe go to somewhere near the water?
Gosford is almost exactly half-way according to Google Maps travel time, so Woy-Woy or The Entrance could be good candidates. We could go during the day if people have Saturdays off?
Oh man, we could go to Avoca or Terrigal! Terrigal Esplanade is great if you want Thai near the beach by the looks of things, and Avoca Beach has a couple places to eat over-looking the water/beach.
I'm just doing a quick Google Maps view Eagle-Eye style, so things could be different.

What do people think of that? I'd definitely be up for a drive out to the beach, it'd be perfect scenery for some photoshoots! When I finish up my competencies (due tomorrow) I'll go over and have a look for some possible secluded areas, maybe a cliff or something over-looking the water for some car-shots, I could try find a place we could go to have a bit of police-free fun?

We don't have to radio in these cruises to police or anything, do we? I read something about it in a magazine, I thought whaa-

yeah, I need to get back to work right now, but if I'll remember I'll go over and have a look at beaches and spots and stuff.

I'd love to go for a cruise, but according to the ohh so loved RTA i don't get my liscence back untill the 10 June...

You guys should go for a cruise up the mountains though... like up springwood road to a lookout, take some photos then up to lithgow or something... awesome drive.

Mate, no reason why we can't do that as a cruise as well. Welcome back to driving day for you, we'll go out for a cruise on 13th June to the mountains! I'd be down for it. Plenty of notice too.

So there's just Medic, you and myself so far?
I think we need to get a few more people coming along :)

We could scratch this one and try push for a go-karting day?

I would be up for a cruise or meet the skillion at terrigal is alright but busy as hell. Actually terrigal is somewhere that is best avoided on the weekend. The entrance is alright but not really anywhere to go from there. Around woy woy isn't a great deal of fun. A cruise starting in kariong could be made alright going down into woy woy then around the back way for a lap through terrigal then upto the entrance back down through Edina and gosford back upto kariong. Not a very long cruise but could find somewhere to take photos in there and going from and to kariong can be a bit of fun. But that's about it for cruising around gosford. Wouldn't be bad though. Could make some new members from it to and probably good for an after noon early evening thing. I would be attending with my girlfriend in her xr8 with the skitzd number plates lol
and am good for some western suburbs cruises to since I am in either penrith or woy woy

So would it be possible to get people to post definite "yes i'm coming" or "no, I'm busy" replies?
Try get others on the board on-board if you're in contact with them, please :)

Yeah, 27th it is. So can I count on Medic, Adam and Turbo?
You guys in contact with any other members?

Meet-up Location (In Avoca)
This small carpark
Start time
Meet at Avoca by 11am.
What to bring
[*] Your Hyundai (Tell me if members are brining non-hyundais)
[*] Some money for food
[*] Your beach gear (Swimmers, towel, sunblock, water, boogie boards, floaties, balls, etc.)
[*] Your cameras
[*] Partners are more than welcome!

Details
(I wrote this before organizing the post)
Okay, so how about we all meet up at Avoca Beach, I'm thinking at this carpark. It looks like a large enough carpark for us to meet up at, looks over the beach and I don't really think it'll be overly busy.

Aim to get to the meetup location in Avoca Beach at around 1100 hours. The maximum time I want to wait around is 40 minutes, a teen can only so-long of an attention span, so that means I'll be pretty keen to get out of the carpark and move on to do something different at around 1140 hours. That should give everyone plenty of time to get there, say hi, catch up, swap tips, converse, check out each others cars and get ready to move on.

After leaving the carpark, we'll go find somewhere to eat. I would like to put my vote in for Aspex on Avoca, it seems to have amazing views, however it's price might be a little high. If I get time, I might try get a menu before I get to the carpark, but I think we should all decide on where we're eating when we get to the carpark. If you guys want something more economical (don't be scared to say so, I'm 17, cheap food = good food), I'm all for Maccas or just going to a burger shot and chilling out at a carpark whilst eating or something.

We'll cruise around and try find some good spots for pics. There could be a decent car park just past Burns Street when travelling down Avoca Drive, it's more like a dead-end street than a car park. At the end, you can see the water / beach etc., may be enough room for 4-6 cars, which looks as if that's all we're getting. I'll keep looking around for more spots.

Guys, send me a private message with your phone number and I'll send you a text so I have your number and you have mine.
Reply to this post with a definite "Yes" or definite "No".
I'll update you all via text if there are changes or whatever as well as this post.

i cant give a definate yes, as i am inbetween penrith and the central coast and it all depends on what comes up on short notice. May i suggest though that you meet up somewhere else and cruise to avoca because its kinda in the middle of everything kariong how ever is at the top of everything near the f3(actually where you get on and off the f3). And the area where you are looking at for pictures in avoca if its the place i am thinking of wich i am sure it is, is small and is not designated parking aswell as gets packed on a warm day. around ettalong you could get some pictures but best bet would be the skillion at terrigal and if your quick about it you can get the boat ramp for 5 minutes between boats and people. but just a note there is footy on at gosford at 6pm i think on that day. And just so you know i am only making suggestions, based on living around the woy woy area for a good part of my life, and no one needs to take my suggestions at all.

Hmm... Skillion does look pretty good but does it get packed on a weekend?
And ofc. I'll hear out your suggestions, they're just as valuable as every other persons :) Hope you can come along, though.

Yeah, and the Skillion isn't too far away. It's make for a good cruise, too.

So is there someone from the western suburbs coming? I mean, you Newcastle boys can meet up somewhere local and cruise together, and use westies can meet up at Parra or Blacktown or something, and hit the road from there?

Three Accents and an Excel? Can't wait :] Shame I may not have a CAI on my car by then though... at least I got my spark-plug lead thing temporarily fixed.
