Does anyone get together in Adelaide? SA forums looks really dead, kinda disappointing really since I've seen a few nice excels in my travels. Hopefully when my hyper stickers (with website address fingers crossed) arrive and get put on my car I'll be able to promote this place some more!
My car is still pretty stock at the moment, well more like a construction site as half the interior is on my back verandah being covered and painted but I'd love to have a meet to look forward to, to motivate me to finish some more things! Maybe early next year?
Anyone keen let me know, try and get as many people as poss.
I'm happy to do the leg work for mapping and meeting points as I've done all that before for my ex's cortina club but just need company lol

if you can organise afew people to come i may be in. but it may also depend on dates becuase generally im busy on weekends

I am busy on weekends too and time will be easier to find round March next year, if enough people show some interest I'll get something together

I currently run an excel in the SA Hyundai Rally Series. There will be a couple of us entered in the upcoming Adelaide Hills Tarmac Rally (www.asprally.com) which features some runs at Mallala raceway on the friday night. Would you be keen on coming for a cruise up to watch the action? Otherwise we will be running through the southern adelaide hills on Saturday and could organise something there as well.

Hey, sorry haven't been on the site for ages and have heard nothing about any interest in a cruise except for the replies you can see. I haven't been very proactive in contacting members, I figured people might get off their bums and show interest on their own but none so far.
I'd love to come to the rally and check out the cars and will give me something to aim for as my car is in a million pieces right now. I won't have much to show off but I'd love to check out the rally cars. I normally volunteer as a CAMS fire marshal at clipsal, bathurst and the Classic rally but missed out in the last 12 months so would love to get out to an event like this.
Let me know if theres any other interested parties and what ideas anyone has. Would also be good to see other members face to face.

Rally action on the saturday is based in and around Victor Harbour with service park right on the foreshore in the main car park. There are two Excels entered, mine is the black 4 door so come over and say Hi.
